Tahoma Parents PAC Transition – A New Chapter Begins

Dear Tahoma Parents Community,

We want to share some important updates about the future of Tahoma Parents. As many of you know, Tahoma Parents has been a passionate advocate for positive change in our schools and community. Over the years, we've worked together as a Political Action Committee (PAC) to address critical issues, engage with local leaders, and amplify the voices of concerned parents.

However, as the landscape evolves, so too must our efforts. The volunteers who have tirelessly run the PAC portion of Tahoma Parents are moving on to new missions. Some are pursuing higher office, others are relocating out of state, and some are focusing on new initiatives. Because of this, we will be dissolving the PAC portion of our group.

What’s Next?

While the PAC will be closing, Tahoma Parents will continue to be a hub for information, discussion, and community-driven action. Our website, articles, and forums will remain active, and we encourage you to continue submitting and sharing your insights. We will no longer accept donations, and the remaining funds will be used to cover any outstanding bills. If there is anything left, we will donate it to a Tahoma-related organization to further support our community.

Your Role in the Future

The heart of Tahoma Parents has always been its members—you. Parents who care deeply about the future of their children can still make a difference, and your involvement is more crucial than ever. Whether it's running for a school board position, joining your local PTA, or simply staying informed and engaged, there are countless ways to contribute. Change happens when people like you step up and take action.

A Note on Progress

We understand that it can sometimes feel like progress is slow or that the challenges we face are too great. But history teaches us that many of the issues we see today in education took decades to develop. The changes we seek won’t happen overnight—it’s going to take long, hard work. Just as it took years for corruption and mismanagement to take hold, it will take persistence, dedication, and collective effort to set things right. Every step forward, no matter how small, brings us closer to the schools and community our children deserve.

Thank you for being a part of Tahoma Parents. Your commitment to your children and your community is what drives real change. Together, we can continue to build a better future for all.

With gratitude,

The Tahoma Parents Team
