Tahoma’s ‘We The People’ Civics Team Places 5th in Nation

We are thrilled to announce that the Tahoma High School "We the People" team has achieved their goal by placing in the top five at this year’s National Finals in Washington D.C.! This remarkable accomplishment highlights the dedication, hard work, and deep understanding of constitutional principles demonstrated by our students. Competing against some of the brightest young minds across the nation, our team showcased their exceptional knowledge and eloquence in the simulated congressional hearings, impressing judges and peers alike.

This achievement is not only a testament to the students' commitment but also to the tireless guidance of their coach and the support from the Tahoma community. As we celebrate this national recognition, we look forward to the continued success of our students in fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding of our Constitution and democratic principles.

Join us in congratulating our team for their outstanding performance and representing our school with honor and distinction on the national stage!
